We were pleased to find a local business, Protective Structures, that sells and installs tornado shelters. The great thing about Protective Structures is that there are actual tornado shelters which you can see, and even step inside, which aids greatly in deciding which shelter best fits your needs. Since we have some mobility problems, we were pleased to see an ABOVE GROUND shelter which can be built to almost any size AND is built to withstand an F-5 tornado. That solved any mobility and safety concerns we might have. The owner, Cassie, is very knowledgeable and had suggestions which were very helpful. The total process of decision making, buying and installing was stress free. Now, we feel prepared and safe for the next round of turbulent weather that blows our way.

We had two jobs that required bullet-resistant panels, one of which we had ordered through Protective Structures with no problem at all. The other job, out in Panama city, came in with very short notice, so again I called Cassie at Protective Structures. She not only helped me with this last-minute order, but came up with an idea to help coordinate both jobs more efficiently. Between Cassie and Rachel, my job was made very easy.
