Protective Structures, Ltd. offers a variety of voice port designs, which allow for the natural transmission of sound through the window system.
Natural Voice Ports are included when bullet resistant acrylic or polycarbonate (UL-752 Levels 1 – 3) transaction windows are requested for interior window applications. The natural voice port is created by cutting an opening into the glazing and attaching a back plate of the same bullet resistant glazing material using acrylic spacers and carriage bolts.
In exterior pass thru window applications or when bullet resistant glass or glass clad polycarbonate is specified, PSL offers circular stainless steel or aluminum voice ports.
