Bullet Resistant Laminated Glass from Protective Structures, Ltd. is used when scratch resistance is a major concern or where the bullet resistant transparency will be facing the exterior of the building.
Bullet resistant laminated glass is combination of various layers of glass and PVB (Poly Vinylbutyral). Typically, a thin layer of glass is used on the interior (non threat side) surface to minimize spall. These various layers are bonded together and come as a single unit. All of our bullet resistant glass products meet UL-752 standards and are UL Listed for Levels 1 through 4.
Bullet resistant laminated glass cannot be cut in the field, and, therefore, all laminated glass must be made to order. Please allow 4 to 8 weeks for delivery.
